Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rui Martins kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Meirinhos FC's goalkeeper Nuno Moniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Borba. Dércio Soveral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nuno Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Rui Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Silva in the 27th minute of play. Afonso Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meirinhos FC's Nuno Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dércio Soveral in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dércio Soveral made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rafael Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Sá hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Dércio Soveral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dream Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dércio Soveral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Martins in the 70th minute of play forced Dream Team's goalkeeper Sandro Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sandro Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Rui Martins fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sandro Vargas, passed just outside the right post. When Afonso Silva came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Meirinhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Silva couldn't finish the play. Afonso Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rui Martins kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sandro Vargas. That made the score 1-1 in the 91 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
