In the 4th minute, Alberto Silva made a precise shot to the right of Claudemiro Rocha. Old School's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Silva in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudemiro Rocha saved Old School from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Alberto Silva notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Old School's Claudemiro Rocha. Claudemiro Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudemiro Rocha having to make a save. After 26 minutes, Porfírio Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Old School and the Pedregulho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Porfírio Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Diogo Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alberto Silva came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pedregulho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Silva couldn't finish the play. Alberto Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Claudemiro Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudemiro Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedregulho FC's Hélder Santarém proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Pedregulho FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. If Diogo Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Almiro Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Old School's protests and gave Almiro Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. Pedregulho FC's José Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pedregulho FC's Alberto Silva got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Aldaír Antas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Santarém having to interfere. José Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Pedregulho FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Old School.
