Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Rodrigues in the 3rd minute of play forced Pedregulho FC's goalkeeper Hélder Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Luís Bessa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Rubiais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, SC Rubiais's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Silva came free, but Oso Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oso Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when José Soares sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, SC Rubiais's Cristiano Fonseca got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Cristiano Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Rubiais's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Cristiano Abreu in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SC Rubiais's Afonso Assunção. Luís Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Santarém having to interfere. In the 26th minute Hélder Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Bessa in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Santarém prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Mariano Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedregulho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Rubiais the free kick. After having played for 34 minutes, Cristiano Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Rubiais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Pedregulho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Rodrigues came free, but Hélder Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pedregulho FC's zone, Cristiano Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Santarém came out of the goal and Cristiano Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Assunção might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Santarém. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Assunção ran back to his position shaking his head. Afonso Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusébio Sá hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Afonso Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Santarém having to interfere. If Hélder Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oso Ortiz having to interfere. Hélder Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Hélder Santarém made a huge save.
