Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Freitas in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Bernardes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Rodrigo Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Xavier Ribas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Novelhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Ribas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vialonga's goalkeeper Emanuel Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodrigo Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Emanuel Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Cunha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Josué Bernardes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vialonga's Emanuel Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Simões in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Delfim Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vialonga and the SC Novelhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delfim Macedo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Novelhos's Cássio Monteiro tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Vialonga's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Ribas came free, but Emanuel Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Bernardes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Vialonga's Alexandre Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Vialonga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Novelhos were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Freitas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Bernardes having to interfere. Alexandre Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. SC Novelhos's Josué Bernardes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Cunha in the 75th minute of play. If Gaspar Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Freitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josué Bernardes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Freitas ran back to his position shaking his head. Josué Bernardes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Freitas in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Gaspar Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Josué Bernardes. SC Novelhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Xavier Ribas could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Emanuel Lopes however easily saved by the left post. Emanuel Lopes made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Xavier Ribas sent off a good shot on target. Vialonga were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SC Novelhos to leave the ground with a draw.
