Vítor Aleixo came out of the goal and João Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ADRC Palmaz defense, Vicente Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Aleixo. The ADRC Palmaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Aleixo should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Vicente Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sezai Kinay hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ADRC Palmaz's Sezai Kinay got a free kick in the 17th minute. Vítor Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Vaz in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Vicente Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vítor Aleixo. ADRC Palmaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Daniel Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Vítor Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Neves hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vicente Vales short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Vítor Aleixo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sezai Kinay charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sezai Kinay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Bernardo Pinto fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADRC Palmaz's protests and gave Bernardo Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, ADRC Palmaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Pinto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AndradeFC booed when ADRC Palmaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Emanuel Borges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADRC Palmaz and the AndradeFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, ADRC Palmaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Borges to maneuver through the defense.
