SC Vergas's Leal Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Neves in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes of play, SC Vergas's Tomás Eanes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! SC Tarba's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tomás Eanes 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Tomás Eanes let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 13th minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. After 15 played minutes SC Vergas got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Rijo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Brás in the 20th minute of play forced SC Vergas's goalkeeper Leal Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rodrigo Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Carlos Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27thth minute of the game Rodrigo Brás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Vergas's Leal Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Vergas's Leal Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Brás in the 33rd minute of play. SC Tarba's Armindo Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Eanes in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to SC Tarba getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Joaquim Araújo hit a great ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Rodrigo Brás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Vergas's Leal Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiago Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Vergas booed when SC Tarba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SC Vergas's Tomás Eanes in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Tarba's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 62nd of the match, Rodrigo Brás tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Leal Brito got in the way and made a wonderful save. Diamantino Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Leal Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leal Brito made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Diamantino Soares sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Rodrigo Brás sped through SC Vergas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leal Brito. SC Tarba's Armindo Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Eanes in the 88th minute of play. Tomás Eanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Armindo Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armindo Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Monsanto in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Vergas fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Tarba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
