Alpriate FC's Zeferino Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Ferro in the 12th minute of play. SC Servo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rogério Trindade in the 13th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Viriato Ferro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpriate FC's Zeferino Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Jairo Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, SC Servo's Rogério Trindade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Alpriate FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Adolfo Franco hit a great ball. If Miguel Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregório Chagas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adolfo Franco made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Servo's zone, Adolfo Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Anjos came out of the goal and Adolfo Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Paiva in the 53rd minute of play forced Alpriate FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zeferino Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alexandre Mota fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Servo's protests and gave Alexandre Mota a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Servo's Alexandre Mota got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Paiva in the 69th minute of play forced Alpriate FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Viriato Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeferino Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gregório Chagas fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Miguel Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Servo's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeferino Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeferino Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Ferro in the 76th minute of the match. Miguel Fontess short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Zeferino Fernandes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Alpriate FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Adolfo Franco hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, SC Servo's Viriato Ferro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeferino Fernandes. Zeferino Fernandes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Viriato Ferro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeferino Fernandes was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Miguel Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute, Adolfo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Miguel Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Servo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Servo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
