Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Germano Telinhos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 5 played minutes Atabueira got a freekick which was hit by João Martins. Marco Abreu struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Germano Telinhos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atabueira. After 18 minutes, Marco Abreu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Mind's Germano Telinhos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Mind's zone, Jorge Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Telinhos came out of the goal and Jorge Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SC Mind getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Leonardo Cortez hit a great ball. Júlio Assunção, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Jorge Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Mind players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atabueira were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cândido Vilaça to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, SC Mind's Cândido Vilaça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jorge Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes, Atabueira's Oliveira Domingues shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Germano Telinhos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atabueira reached it. Jorge Resende took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Telinhos. Germano Telinhos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Marco Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Abreu might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germano Telinhos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Abreu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute, Lourenço Borba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Telinhos having to interfere. Leonardo Cortez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Paiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Palmiro Carmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Mind's Hélio Gaspar got a free kick in the 92nd minute. SC Mind's Germano Telinhos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save SC Mind from getting a goal against them.
