Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pedrogao's Vicente Borges started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Dimas Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leões Galácticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimas Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Leões Galácticos's zone, Manuel Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higino Frois came out of the goal and Manuel Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Patrício Quental fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leões Galácticos's protests and gave Patrício Quental a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Leões Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrício Quental to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Joaquim Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Pedrogao's David Marques tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vicente Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Frois having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match David Marques sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Higino Frois skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Leões Galácticos's Aprígio Modesto got a free kick in the 25th minute. Vicente Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Frois having to interfere. Francisco Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alípio Gois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Marcelo Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higino Frois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Borges in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dimas Ramalho made the kick off in the second half. If Alípio Gois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. David Marques missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 63 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Higino Frois right hand side. If Manuel Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrício Quental was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Manuel Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Higino Frois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Frois having to interfere. When Aprígio Modesto fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
