Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alberto Miranda made the kick off which started today's match. Cristiano Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Torres got free with Adolfo Freitas in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Cristiano Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saravigoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Anjos in the 17th minute of the match. Bernardo Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gil Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, SC Meires's Bernardo Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusébio Bessa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eusébio Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Nascimento in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Saravigoes getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Humberto Azevedo hit a great ball. Gil Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Bessa having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Alberto Miranda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to SC Meires getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Filipe Sá hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, SC Meires's Artur Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Bessa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eusébio Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Nascimento in the 48th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Anjos was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Bernardo Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Meires's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, SC Meires's Gil Anjos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusébio Bessa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Nascimento scored 0-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusébio Bessa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Bessa having to interfere. Saravigoes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Gil Anjos scored to the left of an out of position Eusébio Bessa, making the score, 0-3. Bernardo Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Bessa having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, SC Meires's Gil Anjos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusébio Bessa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Meires's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
