An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Miranda in the 47th minute of play forced SC Juncais's goalkeeper Inácio Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Cabral made a kick off. In the 54th minute Vicente Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eusébio Bessa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Juncais. In the 56th match minute, Saravigoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Alberto Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saravigoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquim Rodrigues hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Saravigoes's Cristiano Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saravigoes's Eusébio Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Nogueira in the 72nd minute of play. Alberto Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Juncais getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alfredo Cabral hit a great ball. The long shot by Miguel Coimbra in the 86th minute really tested Inácio Guerreiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sérgio Domingues hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Inácio Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Miranda in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute Vicente Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saravigoes's Cristiano Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saravigoes were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
