Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Júlio Correia kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Carneiro got free with Eliseu Souto in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gabriel's zone, Júlio Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Souto came out of the goal and Júlio Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Júlio Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Correia in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Souto saved SC Gabriel from getting behind. Cândido Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eliseu Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Madeiros booed when SC Gabriel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerónimo Malafaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Edgar Barcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes SC Gabriel got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Medeiros. Marco Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Barcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bruno Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Barcelos to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Gabriel's Edgar Barcelos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Pacheco. That made the score 0-1 after 53 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Marco Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseu Souto was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Júlio Correia struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Eliseu Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Madeiros. Eliseu Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Correia's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Jerónimo Malafaia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Gabriel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Madeiros the free kick. Jerónimo Malafaia kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Eliseu Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Graciano Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bruno Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, SC Gabriel's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Carneiro came free, but Eliseu Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Carneiro in the 76th minute of play forced SC Gabriel's goalkeeper Eliseu Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Madeiros booed when SC Gabriel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Souto having to interfere. Marco Carneiro took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Souto. Eliseu Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. SC Madeiros's Marco Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SC Gabriel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Madeiros from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
