Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benedito Malheiro kicked off to start the match. Edgar Barcelos's late challenge caught a SC Palaios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Barcelos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, SC Gabriel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Barcelos to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Barcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedito Malheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Souto having to interfere. A hard shot 11 in the game by Quintino Alves from a close distance when the talented Eliseu Souto managed to make a qualified save. SC Gabriel's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Graciano Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teófilo Castanheira was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Gusmão Soveral fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Palaios's protests and gave Gusmão Soveral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute of the match, Quintino Alves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eliseu Souto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benedito Malheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Palaios's Teófilo Castanheira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Barcelos in the 22nd minute of play. When SC Gabriel's Graciano Martins in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Palaios's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of SC Gabriel booed when SC Palaios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Leitão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quintino Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eliseu Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerónimo Malafaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Barcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Teófilo Castanheira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Edgar Barcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Gabriel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Barcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Graciano Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Palaios players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Gabriel were winning 0-1.

A collision led to SC Palaios getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Paulino Sabrosa hit a great ball. André Castilho shot from long distance in the 52nd minute, but Teófilo Castanheira was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Graciano Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Teófilo Castanheira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Barcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teófilo Castanheira having to interfere. Benedito Malheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Souto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Palaios's zone, Graciano Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teófilo Castanheira came out of the goal and Graciano Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, SC Palaios's goalkeeper Teófilo Castanheira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graciano Martins. Eliseu Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Malheiro in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Palaios getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Adalberto Tinoco hit a great ball. SC Palaios were furious when Adalberto Tinoco was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Teófilo Castanheira, was totally fooled by SC Gabriel's André Castilho, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Teófilo Castanheira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Graciano Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Teófilo Castanheira made a huge save. Graciano Martins took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teófilo Castanheira. Teófilo Castanheira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When the final whistle sounded SC Gabriel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Palaios.
