Freches's Manuel Lages got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 played minutes Freches got a freekick which was hit by Sidónio Cruz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Lages in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Alves saved Mocoes FC from getting behind. If Diogo Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Manuel Lages managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freches's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Lages was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Miguéis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Lucas Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Miguéis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Mocoes FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Moura. After a rather tough play, Freches's Manuel Lages got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Ivan Falcão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Alves was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Lages in the 44th minute of play forced Mocoes FC's goalkeeper Jorge Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Mocoes FC's goalkeeper Jorge Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Lages. After a rather tough play, Freches's Alcino Malta got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Freches's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Oliveira came free, but Igor Miguéis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ivan Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Montenegro during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
