Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frederico Salgado kicked off to start the match. Óscar Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Nivaldo Mansilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Oliveira Pinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nivaldo Mansilha. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Invictus F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alípio Rebelo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Invictus F. C.'s zone, Óscar Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nivaldo Mansilha came out of the goal and Óscar Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Invictus F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Pinto came free, but Nivaldo Mansilha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Calçada during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Invictus F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Gil Calçada. After a rather tough play, Almoster's Daniel Cardoso got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almoster's goalkeeper José Lisboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Daniel Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almoster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Invictus F. C. the free kick. In the 25th minute Oliveira Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nivaldo Mansilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Invictus F. C.'s goalkeeper Nivaldo Mansilha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Carrasqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Almoster's goalkeeper José Lisboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Carrasqueira. Óscar Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nivaldo Mansilha having to interfere. Frederico Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Lisboa having to interfere. Armando Carrasqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Lisboa having to make a save. Nivaldo Mansilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Armando Carrasqueira in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Lisboa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Frederico Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. José Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Óscar Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almoster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Almoster's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
