Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When David Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lagos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Pedroso couldn't finish the play. Laureano Teles was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Domingos Viegas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Domingos Viegas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Domingos Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Teles having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Silvano Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Silvaescura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagos FC the free kick. After 16 played minutes, Lagos FC's António Teixeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laureano Teles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lagos FC reached it. After having played for 22 minutes, Lourenço Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Silvaescura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Luz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Silvaescura's Lourenço Guarda. But to his dismay, Lourenço Guarda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If David Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Zarco Campos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lagos FC's Afonso Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingos Viegas didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 33rd minute. Lagos FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Laureano Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Lima hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. It was a well-played corner which Aldaír Palha managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 47 minutes into the match, SC Silvaescura's Lourenço Guarda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Luz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The wind increased when Lourenço Guarda made the kick off in the second half. Laureano Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Pedroso in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, SC Silvaescura's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Tavares came free, but Laureano Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Fábio Tavares notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SC Silvaescura's Laureano Teles. Laureano Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Laureano Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute David Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Alberto Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 75th minute, Alberto Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute of the match SC Silvaescura got a corner. Lagos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Coimbra ran over to the corner to take the kick. David Pedroso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Teles having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Domingos Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lourenço Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Luz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Silvaescura's Noel Melo got a free kick in the 96th minute. If Domingos Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
