Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Heitor Abrantes made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, Gaia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Rebocho to maneuver through the defense. F.C Pinheirol's Amílcar Ribas got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimas Zambujal hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Dário Semedo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaia FC's protests and gave Dário Semedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gaia FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dário Semedo hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, F.C Pinheirol's Amílcar Ribas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Dimas Zambujal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luís Ramires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Heitor Abrantes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rúben Padilha. Heitor Abrantes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Heitor Abrantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rúben Padilha having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C Pinheirol's goalkeeper Rúben Padilha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 27 minutes, Gregório Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C Pinheirol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregório Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Ramires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Gregório Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C Pinheirol's Gregório Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Gaia FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Aparício Castro hit a great ball. If Gregório Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heitor Abrantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gregório Fontes to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Ramires made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Dimas Zambujal sent off a good shot on target. Luís Ramires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Dimas Zambujal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Luís Ramires made a huge save. Gregório Fontes got in the 61st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Luís Ramires handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the last second Luís Ramires throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gregório Fontes in the 65thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Isidoro Caeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Caeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rúben Padilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilídio Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Gaia FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ilídio Cunha hit a great ball. Ilídio Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rúben Padilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gregório Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heitor Abrantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rúben Padilha having to interfere. When Ilídio Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Gaia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilídio Cunha couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Ilídio Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Ricardo Portugal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 minutes, Heitor Abrantes made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. F.C Pinheirol's Rúben Padilha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrício Ornelas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
