Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heitor Abrantes got the match started through his kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Luís Ramires successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rouba FC's Lúcio Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilídio Cunha in the 6th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Miguel Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rouba FC and the Gaia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Miguel Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Mendes hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 16 played minutes Rouba FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Matias. After 17 played minutes, Gaia FC's Henrique Viana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lúcio Aleixo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gaia FC reached it. Henrique Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Armindo Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rouba FC's protests and gave Armindo Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Rouba FC got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Amaro. In the 34th minute, Filipe Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rouba FC's Filipe Mendes in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gaia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gaia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Filipe Mendes scored to the left of an out of position Luís Ramires, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Rouba FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fernando Ramos hit a great ball. Lúcio Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilídio Cunha in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match, Filipe Mendes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luís Ramires saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Filipe Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Mendes to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Filipe Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rouba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipe Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaia FC's Luís Ramires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Teixeira in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Rouba FC booed when Gaia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Rouba FC's André Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Ramires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 72 minutes into the match, Gaia FC's Ilídio Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lúcio Aleixo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Filipe Mendes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Gaia FC's Luís Ramires. Luís Ramires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaia FC's goalkeeper Luís Ramires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot by Aparício Castro from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Lúcio Aleixo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Patrício Ornelas kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ilídio Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lúcio Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rouba FC had won after a very even match.
