Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pedro Mourato made the kick off which started today's match. Courense FC's Vicente Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Mourato in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 minutes, Albérico Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Courense FC and the N.O.B DE PORTUGAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. 10 minutes into the match, Joaquim Moutinho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Courense FC's Vicente Bento. Vicente Bento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Simão Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Courense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simão Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Januário Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Januário Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Januário Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Neto in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes N.O.B DE PORTUGAL got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Esparteiro. Hermes Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Guerreiro having to interfere. Paulo Vides's late challenge caught a Courense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Vides helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Courense FC booed when N.O.B DE PORTUGAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Januário Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermes Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Simão Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but N.O.B DE PORTUGAL's Januário Guerreiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes, Hermes Leal made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. N.O.B DE PORTUGAL's Januário Guerreiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Pedro Mourato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Courense FC's Vicente Bento got control of the ball when Joaquim Moutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Simão Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, N.O.B DE PORTUGAL's Januário Guerreiro got control of the ball when Hermes Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, N.O.B DE PORTUGAL's Baltasar Morais got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hermes Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Courense FC's Silvestre Campos tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hermes Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Januário Guerreiro made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, N.O.B DE PORTUGAL's goalkeeper Januário Guerreiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermes Leal. Januário Guerreiro came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Courense FC's Hermes Leal. But to his dismay, Hermes Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Simão Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Moutinho struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Vicente Bento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for N.O.B DE PORTUGAL. Pedro Mourato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vicente Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Mourato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Bento having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
