Nuno Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Burgães FC's 姚铮烨 got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Amorim in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, 姚铮烨 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Vítor Moutinho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Burgães FC's Rui Cunha quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Amadeu Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姚铮烨 in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, 姚铮烨 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeu Aleixo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tod Kirkpatrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burgães FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Kirkpatrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Aleixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Vítor Leite in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Burgães FC's André Carvalho. Tod Kirkpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Amadeu Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Burgães FC's 姚铮烨 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amadeu Aleixo. Amadeu Aleixo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tod Kirkpatrick scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu Aleixo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Nuno Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel Almeida. That made the score 2-1 in the 72 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Vítor Moutinho in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Burgães FC's Rui Cunha. Amílcar Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Amadeu Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Atilho getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Adolfo Ferreira hit a great ball. Amadeu Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姚铮烨 in the 84th minute of play. Abel Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Atilho's Nuno Correia got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Tod Kirkpatrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Burgães FC fully deserved thier win.
