Henrique Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Oliveira FC's zone, Tiago Taborda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Macedo came out of the goal and Tiago Taborda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Ramos struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ivan Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oliveira FC. In the 14thth minute of the game José Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corroios FC's Ivan Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henrique Macedo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When Tiago Taborda came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Corroios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Taborda couldn't finish the play. Delfim Gonçalves hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Hugo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ivan Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oliveira FC's Delfim Gonçalves got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, Corroios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Taborda to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Hamilton Caneira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Oliveira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Taborda came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henrique Macedo could save by the left post. After 41 played minutes Oliveira FC got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Gonçalves. Hamilton Caneira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliveira FC's Henrique Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Oliveira FC from getting a goal against them. Ivan Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If José Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Oliveira FC's Henrique Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Taborda in the 55th minute of play. Ivan Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th match minute, Oliveira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Ramos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Simões when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ivan Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamilton Caneira might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrique Macedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamilton Caneira ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrique Macedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamilton Caneira went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Ramos in the 77th minute of play forced Corroios FC's goalkeeper Ivan Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamilton Caneira, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Hamilton Caneira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Corroios FC booed when Oliveira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Tiago Taborda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corroios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Taborda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oliveira FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Corroios FC.
