Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flávio Camargo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Sebolido FC's goalkeeper Severino Aleixo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgílio Palhares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Camargo in the 4th minute of play forced Sebolido FC's goalkeeper Severino Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgílio Palhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Flávio Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperial Sport Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Aleixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sebolido FC booed when Imperial Sport Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Zambujal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Sebolido FC's goalkeeper Severino Aleixo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgílio Palhares. Severino Aleixo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Simão Nunes sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Flávio Camargo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severino Aleixo, 1-0. Virgílio Palhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Imperial Sport Clube's Albertino Junqueira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Virgílio Palhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flávio Camargo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Aleixo saved Sebolido FC from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Frederico Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Camargo in the 47th minute of play forced Sebolido FC's goalkeeper Severino Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederico Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severino Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Camargo in the 55th minute of the match. Virgílio Palhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Flávio Camargo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperial Sport Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Flávio Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Aleixo having to interfere. If Virgílio Palhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Palhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Severino Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imperial Sport Clube's Flávio Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgílio Palhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Severino Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sebolido FC's zone, Flávio Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Aleixo came out of the goal and Flávio Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Camargo in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Imperial Sport Clube fully deserved thier win.
