Inácio Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermano Palhares in the 22nd minute of the match. The SC Serpente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martinho Amaro should have stopped the shot. Martinho Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Guarda in the 37th minute of play. Augusto Cabral scored 0-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martinho Amaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. JDM Meinedo's 史斐亮 got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 史斐亮 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Martinho Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 史斐亮 made a kick off. Inácio Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Cesário, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 81st minute, Jorge Rebocho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martinho Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史斐亮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Augusto Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Augusto Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martinho Amaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. JDM Meinedo's Mário Garcia was substituted for André Luz. The SC Serpente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JDM Meinedo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
