To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Infante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Magalhães having to interfere. Aprígio Salgueiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Magalhães having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Guizande's goalkeeper Miguel Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Pacheco. Cássio Campos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Filipe Infante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aprígio Salgueiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 84th minute, Rodrigo Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aprígio Salgueiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luís Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SHOW DE BOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Pacheco couldn't finish the play.
