Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Armindo Paiva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcos Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Paiva in the 7th minute of the match. André Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Tavares having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Ufe FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Pinheiro. Armindo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Academia de Talentos's Ademar Taborda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Academia de Talentos defense, André Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Tavares. The Academia de Talentos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Tavares should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademar Taborda made a kick off. Armindo Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Tavares having to interfere. André Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Ademar Taborda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia de Talentos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Armindo Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Domingos during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Academia de Talentos getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Laureano Domingos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Academia de Talentos's zone, Armindo Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Tavares came out of the goal and Armindo Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Salgado's late challenge caught a Ufe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Academia de Talentos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervásio Vilar's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Marcos Tavares came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ufe FC's André Garcia. But to his dismay, André Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 92nd minute, André Garcia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 94 minutes into the game, Ufe FC's Armindo Paiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Ufe FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia de Talentos.
