Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Monsanto's Albérico Bessa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bolfiar's Bruno Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albérico Bessa in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, one of Bolfiar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bolfiar. Monsanto's Angélico Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Monsanto from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Bolfiar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Gentil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Angélico Ribeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Bolfiar's Telmo Figueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julião Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Angélico Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Hipólito Pinto could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Bruno Abreu however easily saved by the left post. Albérico Bessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Abreu having to make a save. The supporters of Bolfiar booed when Monsanto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Gentil didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipólito Pinto got free with Bruno Abreu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Telmo Figueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Gentil hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bolfiar players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
