Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Oliveira Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Malafaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Alberto Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Eduardo Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hermínio Telinhos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Oliveira Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Machado in the 21st minute of play. Fabiano Malafaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabiano Malafaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Alberto Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Balsas's Alberto Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Oliveira Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Fontoura hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Veiga in the 38th minute of play forced Covais FC's goalkeeper David Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Veiga struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. David Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balsas. Alberto Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Covais FC's Santiago Machado got a free kick in the 46th minute. Alberto Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Igor Paredes made the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Veiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Veiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Machado's late challenge caught a Balsas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Machado helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Covais FC got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Machado. In the 70th minute of the match, Fabiano Malafaia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oliveira Domingues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oliveira Domingues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Paredes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. David Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Leão hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Fabiano Malafaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Oliveira Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eduardo Melo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Balsas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Melo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Alberto Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balsas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Covais FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Balsas side.
