Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 8 minutes, Miguel Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Benavila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Laboucinho's Nuno Oliveira got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Nuno Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Benavila's zone, Inácio Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Pacheco came out of the goal and Inácio Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Diamantino Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of SC Benavila:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Laboucinho:s goal. Gil Ribeiro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to SC Benavila getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Carlos Queirós hit a great ball. José Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Fernandes in the 32nd minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Nuno Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laboucinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Benavila the free kick. Nuno Oliveira hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Miguel Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Nuno Matos didn't quite understand what happened when in the 37 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Miguel Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. José Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Benavila. In the 44thth minute of the game Nuno Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laboucinho's José Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but José Ribeiro made a huge save. Miguel Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Laboucinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nuno Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Ribeiro was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 67 minutes into the game, Nuno Fernandes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Ribeiro. Nuno Fernandes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 73rd minute Fábio Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fábio Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Laboucinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Pinto couldn't finish the play. Diamantino Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Pereira in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diamantino Pacheco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Veiga in the 84th minute of play forced Laboucinho's goalkeeper José Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Fábio Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laboucinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inácio Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diamantino Pacheco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Benavila's zone, Fábio Pinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diamantino Pacheco came out of the goal and Fábio Pinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes SC Benavila got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Cruz. If Inácio Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
