In the 5th minute, Jacinto Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Ciborro's goalkeeper Artur Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Américo Setúbal. In the 8th minute of the match Jacinto Nunes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Lima skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Ciborro getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. José Moniz hit a great ball. Eusébio Cabral, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Orca FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Pedro Vaz hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match Nuno Leiria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Lima skillfully saved the ball. Filipe Lima came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciborro's Heitor Fonseca. But to his dismay, Heitor Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Diogo Matias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Almeida was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Diogo Matias made the kick off in the second half. Diogo Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Américo Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Matias in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Almeida saved Ciborro from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Ramos during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Óscar Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heitor Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Rui Almeida dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filipe Lima, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Rui Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciborro's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
