Luís Moutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Moutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31stth minute of the game Luís Moutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peralcovo FC's Paulino Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulino Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Geraldo Avelar came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Peralcovo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Avelar couldn't finish the play. The SC Armadouro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peralcovo FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josué Bandeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulino Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Peralcovo FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Avelar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Moutinho in the 75th minute of play forced Peralcovo FC's goalkeeper Paulino Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peralcovo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
