Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Barros started the match with the kick off. The supporters of SC Armadouro booed when SC Valega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Matias having to interfere. Luís Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Matias having to interfere. If António Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Barros's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. SC Armadouro were furious when João Brás was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. SC Valega's António Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Brás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delfim Nunes having to make a save. If António Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. SC Armadouro's Delfim Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Brás in the 38th minute of play. António Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delfim Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Brás to strike the kick off in the second half. Lourenço Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Valega's Duarte Brás got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, SC Armadouro's goal looked a bit too open when António Barros came free, but Delfim Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Emanuel Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Valega eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
