Donato Viveiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Severino Vasques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Hélder Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giestosa FC's Severino Vasques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Humberto Pestana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gil Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Viveiros succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. Quintino Águas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladreda's António Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintino Águas in the 32nd minute of play. In the 39th minute, Giestosa FC's Quintino Águas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind António Gaspar. António Gaspar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Assunção was the one to do the kick off. Hélder Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Vasques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Gil Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Ladreda's Hélder Lima seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hélder Lima the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ladreda protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hélder Lima had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 58th minute, one of Ladreda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ladreda. The referee gave Giestosa FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Afonso Dias, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ladreda's António Gaspar. 3-0. Quintino Águas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. António Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Severino Vasques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Giestosa FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Humberto Pestana hit a great ball. Hélder Abreu scored 4-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Vasques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giestosa FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ladreda for a fine match.
