Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quintino Águas started the match with the kick off. Severino Vasques came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Dragôes Sandinenses's Miguel Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Miguel Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jorge Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jorge Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Vasques having to interfere. When Aprígio Cavaco came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SC Dragôes Sandinenses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aprígio Cavaco couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Tarcísio Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Donato Viveiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damião Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Tarcísio Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute of the match, Jorge Barros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Severino Vasques was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Giestosa FC's Severino Vasques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Barros in the 28th minute of play. Jorge Barross short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Severino Vasques to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Severino Vasques was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miguel Albuquerque showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Jorge Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aprígio Cavaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Vasques having to interfere. Severino Vasques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Barros went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Humberto Pestana in the 59th minute really tested Damião Assis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Giestosa FC's zone, Aprígio Cavaco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Vasques came out of the goal and Aprígio Cavaco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Vasques having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ademar Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SC Dragôes Sandinenses's Amadeu Gameiro got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Afonso Dias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damião Assis. SC Dragôes Sandinenses's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 74 played minutes SC Dragôes Sandinenses got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Barros. SC Dragôes Sandinenses's Tarcísio Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giestosa FC's Severino Vasques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aprígio Cavaco in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Giestosa FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ademar Veiga hit a great ball. When Miguel Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SC Dragôes Sandinenses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. Severino Vasques came out of the goal and Miguel Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ademar Veiga fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Giestosa FC's protests and gave Ademar Veiga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Giestosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Vaz to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the SC Dragôes Sandinenses players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
