After having played for 27 minutes, Lucas Padilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almofrela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Padilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SC Caxinas booed when Almofrela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Éder Azenha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Padilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Francisco Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Neves came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Caxinas's Paulo Gaspar. But to his dismay, Paulo Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. SC Caxinas's Diamantino Rocha suffered a sore foot after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Maurício Garcia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Maurício Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, SC Caxinas's Rafael Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquim Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gonçalves in the 85th minute of play. SC Caxinas's Francisco Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Caxinas from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Josué Bernardes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Neves. SC Caxinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josué Bernardes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
