Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cestaco FC's Reinaldo Brites started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Almofrela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Brites came free, but Joaquim Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lucas Padilha came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Almofrela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Padilha couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Abel Mafra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cestaco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almofrela FC the free kick. 15 minutes into the game, one of Cestaco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 34 minutes of play Cestaco FC's Abel Mafra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cestaco FC's Abel Mafra got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Herberto Guerreiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xavier Tinoco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rui Palhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Joaquim Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Cestaco FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Josué Bernardes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Lucas Padilha made the kick off in the second half. Diego Infante hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Lucas Padilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, Cestaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Infante to maneuver through the defense. Armindo Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Josué Bernardes came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Almofrela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Bernardes couldn't finish the play. Lucas Padilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Xavier Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Almofrela FC booed when Cestaco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavier Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Bernardes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Infante hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Rui Palhares came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Cestaco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Palhares couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herberto Guerreiro during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joaquim Neves came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cestaco FC's Rui Palhares. But to his dismay, Rui Palhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 87th minute, Jairo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Cestaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Alcino Brochado. After 96 minutes Cestaco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herberto Guerreiro who took care of the corner kick. Almofrela FC's Herberto Guerreiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xavier Tinoco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cestaco FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
