Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Padilha got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Caldeirinhas's zone, Josué Bernardes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Assis came out of the goal and Josué Bernardes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipe Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ricardo Assis made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Josué Bernardes sent off a good shot on target. If Luís Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Almofrela FC's Armindo Delgado got a free kick in the 17th minute. When SC Caldeirinhas's Nuno Araújo in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Almofrela FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Armindo Delgado hit a great ball. Nuno Araújo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Joaquim Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Caldeirinhas. Joaquim Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Luís Sousa made the kick off in the second half. The shot was stopped by Joaquim Neves but with some difficulty. Almofrela FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luís Sousa 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After having played for 90 minutes, Luís Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Caldeirinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Almofrela FC's Joaquim Neves got control of the ball when Nuno Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Caldeirinhas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
