Alex Queiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Pinheiro in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Santiago Vilhena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Fernandes skillfully saved the ball. If Igor Cerqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Lapela FC's Igor Cerqueira in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almagreira's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Graciano Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Graciano Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cerqueira in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Igor Cerqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Igor Cerqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Graciano Vides's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Bruno Fernandes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Almagreira's Bruno Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cerqueira in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Graciano Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Graciano Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Almagreira's goalkeeper Bruno Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graciano Vides. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Antunes during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lapela FC booed when Almagreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Graciano Vides sent off a good shot on target. If Diamantino Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lapela FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Norberto Quaresma hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Diamantino Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Almagreira getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Domingos Baptista hit a great ball. Graciano Vides scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almagreira's Bruno Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cerqueira in the 61st minute of play. Igor Cerqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graciano Vides in the 66th minute of the match. Bruno Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cerqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Cerqueira in the 71st minute of play forced Almagreira's goalkeeper Bruno Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almagreira's Manuel Antunes got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Manuel Antunes off the ground. In the 74th minute, Manuel Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Graciano Vides might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Fernandes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graciano Vides in the 84th minute of play. Graciano Vides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Fernandes having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Cerqueira in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Fernandes saved Almagreira from getting behind. If Igor Cerqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Queiroga having to interfere.
