Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabriel Martins got the match started through his kick off. Mário Aguiar took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Amorim. Pedro Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pedro Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Pedro Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Vasconcelos in the 12th minute of play. Gabriel Martins succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in CD Beja's zone, Gabriel Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Lisboa came out of the goal and Gabriel Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mário Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Josué Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Joel Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Beja's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Vasconcelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aljezur FC's Pedro Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Vasconcelos in the 37th minute of play. Pedro Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António lacerda, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Gabriel Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Aljezur FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Joel Vasconcelos scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Amorim, making the score, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higino Macedo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, one of CD Beja:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mário Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Pedro Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience held their breath when Emanuel Amaral in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Josué Lisboa's left hand side. Joel Vasconcelos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. CD Beja's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aljezur FC's Pedro Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Aljezur FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st match minute, Aljezur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. When Mário Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the CD Beja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Aguiar couldn't finish the play. The CD Beja supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Beja would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
