Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aljezur FC's Gabriel Martins started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gonçalo Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Amorim having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gonçalo Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alrote's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Jacinto Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The wind increased when Gonçalo Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Aljezur FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Nogueira. After a rather tough play, Alrote's Basílio Gomes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Pedro Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Gonçalo Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Jacinto Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alrote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alrote's Gonçalo Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Alrote manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Aljezur FC to win.
