Picamiolos's Alberto Baião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Leite in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Leite in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Baião saved Picamiolos from getting behind. Fernando Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cláudio Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Baião. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of SC Olhao booed when Picamiolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesualdo Rijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Raul Magalhães sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Picamiolos's Alberto Baião didn't even have to move. In the 26th minute Paulo Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Baião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Picamiolos got a freekick which was hit by Jesualdo Rijo. 29 minutes into the match, Picamiolos's goalkeeper Alberto Baião had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio Leal. 31 minutes into the match, SC Olhao's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Galvão came free, but Fernando Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, SC Olhao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, SC Olhao's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Júdice came free, but Fernando Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. Humberto Póvoas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Picamiolos's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Leal came free, but Alberto Baião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Paulo Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Baião stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Leite's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Cláudio Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Baião having to make a save. Alberto Baião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Leal in the 68th minute of the match. After 69 minutes Picamiolos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Magalhães who took care of the corner kick. Cláudio Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Baião having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Póvoas during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Humberto Póvoas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Paulo Leite scored 1-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Baião, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 84 minutes of play, SC Olhao's Paulo Leite made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Baião was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Leite struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Alberto Baião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Olhao. Alberto Baião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Leite in the 90th minute of the match. After 94 played minutes SC Olhao got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Teixeira. In the 97th minute Paulo Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Baião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Picamiolos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SC Olhao had controlled the match.
