Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Madeira started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, SC Cartaxaria's Cláudio Ferro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Baía narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adérito Linhares in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francisco Antunes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Joaquim Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Baía having to interfere. In the 11th minute, José Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Madeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Antunes having to interfere. The Friends United's Adérito Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armindo Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armindo Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Cartaxaria getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Armindo Tavares hit a great ball. When Cândido Porto fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Cartaxaria's protests and gave Cândido Porto a yellow card for diving instead. Alcino Poças took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Antunes. SC Cartaxaria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. João Baía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Porto in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Pedro Madeira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. SC Cartaxaria's Cândido Porto got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Cândido Porto off the ground. In the 35th match minute, SC Cartaxaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Porto to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adérito Linhares in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Armindo Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Madeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Antunes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Madeira in the 44th minute of play forced SC Cartaxaria's goalkeeper Francisco Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Cartaxaria's Francisco Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save SC Cartaxaria from getting a goal against them. Adérito Linhares was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 49th minute. The Friends United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Torres made a kick off. Armindo Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute Adérito Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adérito Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Antunes having to interfere. Adérito Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Francisco Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Madeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. SC Cartaxaria's Francisco Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Madeira in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st minute, SC Cartaxaria's Joaquim Torres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 84 played minutes, The Friends United's Alcino Poças shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Antunes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Friends United reached it. Joaquim Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When The Friends United's Pedro Madeira in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Cartaxaria's goalie prevented a goal. Francisco Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Madeira in the 98th minute of the match.
