Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Brito kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice moves Rubim Rijo could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Viriato Ferro however easily saved by the left post. In the 9th match minute, FC Vampir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Trindade to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cristiano Salvado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Tobias Severiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cuxerre's Viriato Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Sampaio in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Fernando Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubim Rijo got free with Viriato Ferro in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fernando Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Salvado having to interfere. After 41 played minutes, Cuxerre's André Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristiano Salvado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cuxerre reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Fernando Sampaio made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Vampir's Estevão Falcão got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Cuxerre's Jaime Brito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristiano Salvado. Cristiano Salvado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Jaime Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Salvado having to interfere. When Adelino Santarém fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Vampir's protests and gave Adelino Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Vampir getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Adelino Santarém hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Cuxerre's Pedro Guarda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Salvado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jaime Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Tobias Severiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Vampir and the Cuxerre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes FC Vampir got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Severiano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeferino Telinhos during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Vampir's Zeferino Telinhos got a free kick in the 86th minute. António Trindade's late challenge caught a Cuxerre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Trindade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, FC Vampir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Trindade to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, FC Vampir's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Brito came free, but Cristiano Salvado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pedro Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cuxerre supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cuxerre would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
