In the 14th minute, Alexandre Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Furtado hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Leal Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Falcão in the 26th minute of the match. Silvério Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Reinaldo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexandre Falcão struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Silvério Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marco. Olívio Júdice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Matias Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gentil Maltez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Matias Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gentil Maltez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reinaldo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvério Brito came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Marco's Leal Onofre. But to his dismay, Leal Onofre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 64th minute Alexandre Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marco's Alexandre Falcão in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESGOTA PIPAS's goalie prevented a goal. Matias Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gentil Maltez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the game, David Gouveia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ESGOTA PIPAS the free kick. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for ESGOTA PIPAS. Silvestre Barros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gentil Maltez. 1-2. The supporters of Marco booed when ESGOTA PIPAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvério Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gentil Maltez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Júdice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco's Gentil Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Júdice in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ESGOTA PIPAS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
