DinnyFC's Júlio Macieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Lobato in the 2nd minute of play. Júlio Macieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lourenço Gonçalves went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Fabrício Colaço managed to get in a good position for a shot. DinnyFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Colaço was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Normando Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabrício Colaço sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Macieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Júlio Macieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Lobato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Normando Brás having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palhares Futebol Clube's zone, Fabrício Colaço stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Normando Brás came out of the goal and Fabrício Colaço tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palhares Futebol Clube's Normando Brás proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Palhares Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After having played for 30 minutes, Fabrício Colaço managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DinnyFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Colaço was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Fabrício Colaço got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Mariano Taborda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Palhares Futebol Clube's Normando Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Severo in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, DinnyFC's Fabrício Colaço ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Normando Brás. Normando Brás yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 48th minute, Angélico Cerqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lourenço Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, DinnyFC's Júlio Macieira got control of the ball when Nuno Bulhosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Telmo Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DinnyFC's Telmo Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Normando Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Telmo Severo in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Normando Brás prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Telmo Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Normando Brás having to interfere. A collision led to Palhares Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Nuno Bulhosa hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Palhares Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Bulhosa. DinnyFC were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Palhares Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelo Lima took the corner. The corner led DinnyFC's Zeferino Álvares to fire away a dangerous shot which Normando Brás despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 83 played minutes Palhares Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Bulhosa. After having played for 89 minutes, Fabrício Colaço managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DinnyFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Colaço was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, DinnyFC's Mariano Taborda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Normando Brás made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. DinnyFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palhares Futebol Clube for a fine match.
