Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bicuela FC's Maurício Vilalobos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, SC Barrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Castro to maneuver through the defense. Artur Vieira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gaspar Ferro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eurico Durães during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eurico Durães hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Rui Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fábio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Vital having to interfere. Joaquim Vital showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cláudio Cordeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Artur Vieira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Carlos Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Barrada's Artur Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save SC Barrada from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bicuela FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Vital, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Maurício Vilalobos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Castro during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, SC Barrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Castro to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Abreu to make the kick off. Fábio Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Joaquim Vital made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Fábio Abreu took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Joaquim Vital to make any attempt to save it. Artur Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Brochado's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Fábio Fernandess short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Joaquim Vital to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in SC Barrada's zone, Maurício Vilalobos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Vieira came out of the goal and Maurício Vilalobos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fábio Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Joaquim Vital tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute of the match, Delfim Trindade got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquim Vital was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Bicuela FC defense, Fábio Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquim Vital. The Bicuela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Vital should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bicuela FC booed when SC Barrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Fábio Fernandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Barrada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.
