Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fernando Almeida made the kick off which started today's match. Estevão Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Refugidos's Aprígio Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Júlio Pedroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Refugidos's Estevão Ramalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, SC Refugidos's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Pedroso came free, but Estevão Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, SC Cavalo's Joaquim Magalhães made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Estevão Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of SC Refugidos booed when SC Cavalo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fernando Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SC Cavalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Almeida couldn't finish the play. Júlio Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute Fernando Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevão Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

SC Cavalo's José Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aprígio Amorim in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cavalo's zone, Aprígio Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Ferreira came out of the goal and Aprígio Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Estevão Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, SC Refugidos's goalkeeper Estevão Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Pedroso. Fernando Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevão Ramalho having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Refugidos's goalkeeper Estevão Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Joaquim Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Cavalo booed when SC Refugidos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Valido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Fernando Almeida fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 86 minutes, Pascoal Diegues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Refugidos and the SC Cavalo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Refugidos! The goalkeeper, Estevão Ramalho, was totally fooled by SC Cavalo's André Marques, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Júlio Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. José Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Refugidos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Cavalo's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Cavalo.
