Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Rosal's Gil Gentil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Vidal in the 6th minute of play. Lourenço Leal struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Silvano Bessa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Rosal. If Timóteo Gameiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Rosal getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Vicente Eanes hit a great ball. Silvano Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Leal in the 19th minute of play. Paulo Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Timóteo Gameiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.D.R. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Paulo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvano Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Graça in the 29th minute of play. Lourenço Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Bessa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Leal in the 37th minute of play forced C.D.R.'s goalkeeper Silvano Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Bessa came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Rosal's Vítor Graça. But to his dismay, Vítor Graça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 46th minute, Vicente Eanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Bessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil Gentil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Paulo Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D.R.'s protests and gave Paulo Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Paulo Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Silvano Bessa managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when SC Rosal's Lourenço Leal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Adolfo Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Rosal's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Guerreiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Graça in the 64th minute of the match. Paulo Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Bessa made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Lourenço Leal sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to C.D.R. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Pedro Peralta hit a great ball. The supporters of C.D.R. booed when SC Rosal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Conde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Bessa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Rosal's Lourenço Leal. But to his dismay, Lourenço Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 92nd minute Paulo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Gentil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, José Pádua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Rosal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
