Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torcato Espírito Santo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Silvestre Bento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Silvestre Leitão made a huge save. Silvestre Leitão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Franco in the 9th minute. VRSA United's Silvestre Leitão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Pacheco in the 10th minute of play. Rui Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Silvestre Leitão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gontaes FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Gontaes FC's Rui Pacheco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silvestre Leitão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Colaço in the 20th minute of play. VRSA United's Silvestre Leitão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Pacheco in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 played minutes VRSA United got a freekick which was hit by Torcato Espírito Santo. VRSA United's Silvestre Leitão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save VRSA United from getting a goal against them. Fábio Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Leitão having to interfere. Fábio Francos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Silvestre Leitão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Torcato Espírito Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Fábio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fábio Franco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gontaes FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geraldo Boaventura in the 56th minute. If Fábio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Aprígio Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VRSA United and the Gontaes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Aprígio Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fábio Franco came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gontaes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Franco couldn't finish the play. After having played for 67 minutes, Fábio Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gontaes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, VRSA United's Álvaro Falcão got a free kick in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Franco in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Leitão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 75 minutes, Joaquim Colaço managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gontaes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Colaço was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fábio Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gontaes FC fully deserved thier win.
