Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) AC.LOMBO's Raul Amorim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Eusébio Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC.LOMBO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute Afonso Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Vaz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ronqueira's Sandro Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The long shot by Eduardo Almeida in the 17th minute really tested Paulo Cardoso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 27th minute, António Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Raul Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC.LOMBO's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Resende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Afonso Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso Moniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Sandro Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ronqueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Resende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute of the match Eduardo Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Cardoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Sandro Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Miguel Resende was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Raul Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sandro Melo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. António Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Afonso Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ronqueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Moniz in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Resende saved AC.LOMBO from getting behind. AC.LOMBO's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Cabral's late challenge caught a Ronqueira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Moniz in the 91st minute of play. Miguel Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Moniz in the 93rd minute of the match. Miguel Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. A collision led to AC.LOMBO getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sérgio Nascimento hit a great ball. Afonso Moniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, AC.LOMBO failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
