Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Severiano Dias took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gualter Vasques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Queirós in the 3rd minute of the match. Hermano Macieira charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermano Macieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bente FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hermano Macieira hit a great ball. Gualter Vasques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Aparício Sacadura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualter Vasques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualter Vasques was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The supporters of SC Gaiata booed when Bente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermano Macieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bente FC's Amado Galvão got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gualter Vasques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Queirós in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Queirós in the 28th minute of play forced Bente FC's goalkeeper Gualter Vasques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Queirós might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualter Vasques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Queirós ran back to his position shaking his head. Severiano Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Vasques having to interfere. Bente FC's Hermano Macieira got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hélder Graça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hermano Macieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Galvão to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, SC Gaiata's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Galvão came free, but Hélder Graça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Gaiata getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Albertino Figueiras hit a great ball. Hermano Macieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Graça having to interfere. Bente FC's Hermano Macieira got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Queirós took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualter Vasques. Gualter Vasques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Amado Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Mesquita's late challenge caught a SC Gaiata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Adão Camacho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bente FC's Gualter Vasques didn't even have to move. 74 minutes into the match, SC Gaiata's goal looked a bit too open when Hermano Macieira came free, but Hélder Graça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Aparício Sacadura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aparício Sacadura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Graça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aparício Sacadura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gaiata's zone, Aparício Sacadura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Graça came out of the goal and Aparício Sacadura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermano Macieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aparício Sacadura struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hélder Graça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bente FC. Gualter Vasques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bente FC's Gualter Vasques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Bente FC from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Queirós came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gualter Vasques could save by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Bente FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
